Our company is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with people and be a strong communicator. Our office is seeking candidates with previous dental experience, as well as strong communication skills and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols
• Prepares patient for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping patient
• Provide preventative oral health care (e.g. cleaning and polishing teeth, administering fluoride treatments, Applying Sealants) to patients.
• Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests
• Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments
• Educates patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions; providing reminders of time of next dental hygiene visit
• Maintain office practice (e.g. scheduling appointments, handling telephone calls, filing paperwork with patient records) following dental hygienist's standard procedures and under the hygienist's supervision.
• Maintain understanding of new dental procedures and technologies.
