We have an exciting opportunity to join our team. Our rapidly growing office is looking for the ideal dental assistant to join our fun-loving, hard-working group.
We are seeking an experienced dental assistant. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, has good work ethic, likes to be outgoing, pleasant and has a team spirit!

Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting the dentist in clinical and administrative duties, including; prepare patient for procedure or exam, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials and assist during dental procedures
Assist the doctor with all dental procedures including but not limited to take directions from doctor, anticipate doctor’s needs, performing patient oral evaluations, take, develop and mount accurate and high-quality X-rays, various laboratory duties including provisional.
Must have chair side dental assisting experience, including knowledge of taking digital x-rays, procedure set-up and 4-handed dentistry
Electronic charting
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality according to the HIPAA guidelines.
Preparing treatment rooms by keeping them clean and fully stocked
Maintain cooperative and professional relationships with physicians and office staff
Recognizes routine problems and recommends suggestions, ideas and solutions
Performs other duties as assigned.

Dental Assistant Requirements:
Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Candidates must be punctual, organized and computer literate
A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task
Must be good with children
Ability to work additional days at our Great Neck Office, if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
