Job description
Responsible for preparing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the department's deli products. Slicing deli meats, cheeses, preparing and serving salads, making sandwiches, and serving a variety of food items. Working with equipment like a fryer, stove top, slicer, and rotisserie oven.

Exceptional customer service with knowledge about deli products and recommending additional items to customers to help increase sale.

Deli clerk works with sharp and potentially dangerous equipment daily-whether the deli slicer, oven, or high-temperature dishwasher, they are required to work safely and effectively with all kitchen equipment.

Food handler’s certification preferable. Maintain department cleanliness and follow food certification regulations.

Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. Heavy lifting, stooping & bending.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Minimum age of 18.
