Ponce Inlet WaterSports is in need of Deckhands on our BackWater Fishing Charters & Dolphin/Manatee Eco Tours. We are hiring to prepare us for our busy upcoming season! Our deckhands are responsible for greeting customers and ensuring a pleasurable experience. It is important to make sure safety is being practiced at all times; boarding, unloading and while on charter. In between trips deckhands will be assisting with launching kayaks and digital waivers as needed.

Information will be provided to you in order for a successful delivery on the knowledge of dolphins, wildlife & the local area. Our fishing charters require helping individuals while fishing, baiting, taking the fish off, pictures and any assistance your captain may need throughout the trip. At the end of each day it is important that our boats and equipment are properly washed and maintained.

We are looking for outgoing individuals who work well with the public, and demonstrate superior boat handling skills and knowledge. Excellent customer service skills are a top priority.

Applicants must be able to pass a preemployment drug test and they will be enrolled in a random drug testing program as required for all captains and mates on USCG inspected vessels.

Qualifications: CPR certification, boat handling experience and customer service skills.

Our employees are paid a set rate for each trip they do. Rates include: $35 for a 90 minute eco tour and $60 for a 4 hour fishing charter. The crew has the advantage of making tips while on charters, therefore with good customer service skills you have the opportunity to make extra money!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
