Job Title: Parts Manager
Supervisor: General Manager or Owner
Job Type: Full-Time
Base Salary: $35,000 to $80,000 annual, depending on experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set-up and maintain smooth running and efficient Parts and General Merchandise Departments
- Provide personnel that are motivated, thoroughly trained, and available to the customers
- Overseeing Parts to Service Liaison and ensuring good communication between departments
- Buying, reviewing and managing inventory to ensure balanced levels
- Working to achieve maximum department profitability
- Forecasting trends
- Grow sales volume
- Maintain budgeted revenue and expense objectives
- Visual merchandising of product
- Good customer service and satisfaction
- Assist staff when needed
- Ensure employees keep a clean and organized department
Requirements
- Prior Retail Management experience of at least 3 years
- Prior Motorcycle Dealer experience of at least 2 years
- Prior Lightspeed or Talon experience is a plus
- Knowledge with creating and editing Excel spreadsheet also a plus
- Work history longevity
- Documented success stories and solid references
- Flexible availability
- Must possess sound judgment and decision-making ability
- Eye of the tiger, self-motivated, with exceptional organizational skills
- Candidates who are extroverted, uninhibited, unreserved and demonstrative
