Quality Conservation Services (QCS) provides FREE energy saving improvements to middle- and lower-income households in the Greater Bay Area and in the Greater Los Angeles Area under contracts funded by California utilities, including Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE), Southern California Gas (SCG) and Southwest Gas (SWG).

Data Entry Clerk: Quality Conservation Services (QCS) and its parent, Free Energy Savings Company, provide free energy conservation improvements to qualified middle- and lower-income households in selected California communities under contracts funded by California utilities, such as the Southern California Gas Energy Savings Assistance Program (ESA).

We have an immediate opening for a data entry clerk at our Montclair, CA facility. This is an entry-level position and requires a high degree of accuracy. Qualified individuals must have 2+ years of data entry experience where they performed data entry as their role FULL TIME.

Successful candidates often come from the medical billing field or have experience with completing input of installation work orders in contractor offices.

Responsibilities of our Data Entry Clerks:

  • Review installation work orders for accuracy (and correct them as needed).
  • Complete data entry of installation work orders into multiple databases.
  • Create work reports for management as needed.
  • Meet daily minimum production goals with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Show up for work on time and daily.
  • Filing as needed.

Qualifications & Skills of our Data Entry Clerks:

  • Knowledge of general office procedures, email, and data processing.
  • Ability to ensure a high degree of accuracy and consistency of the work being processed.
  • Good math skills, detail oriented and good with numbers.
  • Solid understanding of MS Word and Excel. Experience with FileMaker Pro a plus.
  • Ability to sit at a computer and perform data entry functions for an extended period.
  • Ability to show up for work on time and daily.
