Job description
The Cycle Counter position is responsible for through continuous cycle counts of inventory in a timely manner while on feet. The Cycle Counter researches for all data available to resolve discrepancies and adheres to proper inventory control and procedures. This position reports to the Inventory Control Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform physical inventory count and compare results with system data
- Research discrepancies between physical and system count
- Communicate cycle count finding to those responsible for inventory
- Adheres to the cycle counting procedures and guidelines
- Maintains count records and data files
- Investigates origin of discrepancies
- Executes daily cycle counts as instructed
- Collects daily warehouse activity data (metrics tracking)
- Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures
- Locates stock and delivers item to destination
- Maintains accurate inventory records to help facilities shortage detection
- Maintains confidentiality of inventory records to authorized personnel
- Performs duties as instructed by management
Shift:
- Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years experience in similar position.
- Computer applications experience using RF Systems.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Power material handling experience preferred.
Other:
- Must be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Must have no issues with heights.
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $19.75-20.50/HOUR . NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
