Coker Feed Mill Customer Experience Specialist - Cashier

Coker Feed Mill is a small but growing family-owned operation looking to make a big impact on the industry in our region. We manufacture the best-value commercial textured feeds for backyard and family farms and small to mid-sized stables. In our feed store, you will have the opportunity to craft an exceptional customer experience, get directly involved in the growth and improvement of the company, and make people happy by helping their animals thrive.

Job Requirements:

● Minimum 1-2 years customer service experience
● Strong functional mathematics skills, including counting back change without a calculator
● Working knowledge of diverse livestock and their dietary needs (1+ years’ experience preferred)
● Passion for customer service
● Thorough understanding of G-Suite, including Google Drive, Docs, Sheets
● Demonstrated orientation toward growth and improvement
● Excellent organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

● Provide an exceptional customer service experience daily to meet or exceed set standards
● Assist customers in finding the appropriate products to meet their needs
● Accurately complete sales using POS system according to established procedures
● Follow up with customers through phone calls and emails to ensure satisfaction
● Maintain a beautiful and impeccably tidy storefront space through regular cleaning duties
● Assist in ordering, stocking, pricing, straightening, and organizing merchandise
● Assist in creating promotional displays and signage
● Assist with organizing and participating in on-site and off-site events as needed
● Get to know our local and agricultural community: their names, their needs, and more
● Other duties and special projects for research, compliance, education, maintenance, and improvement as needed

Hours, Compensation, and Benefits:
● 20+ hrs/wk, Thursday & Friday 10-5, Saturday 8-3
● Salary range: $15 + discretionary bonuses and profit share
