Responsible for managing the overall operation of the store, including tool rental, merchandise sales, inventory control, shipping & receiving, administrative and financial operations, safety and merchandising. Ensures store compliance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directs and motivates Customer Service Team to achieve the business objectives
- Monitors all emails
- Supervises ProService transactions as needed
- Provides monthly ProService statistics to Sr. Leadership
- Efficiently reviews open orders to establish shipping priorities and meet company needs
- Coordinates all non-standard product shipments with carriers
- Manages process for all international shipping, including but not limited to quotes, customs and export requirements
- Ensure that end of month transactions are completed accurately
- Sales/performance reporting to Sr. Leadership as needed
- Ensures that all orders are entered into system timely and accurately
- Establishes new customer accounts in ERP.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise Customer Service Associates. Prioritize and delegate tasks to team. The position is as a working manager, meaning many of the tasks will be performed by the supervisor. Manages HRIS system for employee time keeping. Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; and four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None.
Other skills and abilities: MS Office required. Must be proficient in MS Excel. Working knowledge of Sage or current working system.
