R.C. Moore, Inc. is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for our Pittston, PA location. We are an employee owned (ESOP), leading 3PL company involved in Trucking, Warehousing and Brokering and established in 1956. We are a growing business looking to add valuable team members to our close-knit group.
This position will provide administrative support and will be the liaison to outside parties such as receivers, shippers and brokers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring all planning sheets for new orders.
- Verifying that all orders for the current day and the following day are covered and on track for on-time performance.
- Acknowledge all customer e-mails and concerns and advise them of any discrepancies or anticipated issues.
- Communicate with Account Manager to ensure that all of the day’s deliveries are on time. Coordinate with Account Manager and the Planning Department to find solutions to existing problems.
- If necessary, communicate the problem and the solution steps taken with the customer.
- Coordinate with fellow CSR’s to ensure that all customer loads are updated, scheduled, entered correctly and accurately into our system in a timely manner.
- Assist the Accounting Department with requests for information needed for billing purposes and/or the follow up on such billing.
- Assist Management with implementing any and all changes in our working procedures.
- Advise Management of any current or potential issues and assist with solutions.
- Coordinate/advise/assist personnel in our other terminals as needed
A minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
A minimum of one to two (1-2) years of customer service or related experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook are required.
Experience with TMW a plus
