SEH is currently searching for a talented Resident Project Representative area to join our team in our Bismarck office!

What you will be doing:
- Observing construction on a variety of Transportation, Civil and/or Municipal infrastructure projects to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications, documenting the day-to-day field activities, material sampling and testing, and measuring of quantities.
- Prepare for and assist with preconstruction meetings, progress, and conflict resolution meetings, negotiate and prepare construction change orders, and effectively interact and communicate with clients, contractors, and other SEH personnel.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the construction field serving as a Construction Project Representative or related role.
- Excellent record keeping and communication skills
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be able to walk and climb over rough terrain associated with construction sites
- This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH’s Driving Program.
- Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site observations, etc. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Construction Project Representative on DOT, County and/or Municipal construction projects involving earthwork, concrete and bituminous paving, site improvements, and street/utility construction
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Possession of applicable DOT Technical Certifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation
