Conscious Creamery Gelateria is seeking an enthusiastic gelato slinger who is passionate about putting a smile on someone's face. Located in the heart of Oak Park, we are the perfect stop for families, date nights and a quick treat to satisfy a sweet tooth.

Not only are we conscious about our product but we’re also conscious about maintaining a high quality of service to all our guests. It’s important to us that we interact with everyone we serve and personally share our passion for hand-crafted vegan gelato.

Position: Gelato Slinger

Location: Conscious Creamery Gelateria, 3400 Broadway, Suite 100, Sacramento

Knowledge and Abilities:

● Excellent communication with customers

● Able to work independently and as a team member

● Knowledgeable of California Covid-19 prevention protocols

● Basic cash handling and POS skills

● Looks for ways to go above and beyond for guests and co-workers

● Maintains personal hygiene including hair, uniform, and overall appearance

● Able to handle high pressure situations with poise and professionalism

● Tries every day to have a positive upbeat attitude

● Able to lift and move 50lbs

● Transportation to and from work

Gelateria Responsibilities:

● Greet all guests, as well as thank guests for coming as they leave

● Scooping Gelato for cups, cones, waffles, etc.

● Prepare lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, etc.

● Monitor and restock the gelato cases, making certain they are always neat and clean.

● Identify and report areas in need of cleanup or maintenance.

● Keep the work environment clean and sanitized, including:

○ Sweeping

○ Mopping

○ Sanitizing equipment and workspace regularly

○ Washing equipment used

○ Maintaining outdoor patio area

○ Taking out trash

Compensation/Hours:

- Starting Wage $15.50 per hour, plus tip share

- Part time (15-30) or Full time schedule (30-40) hours weekly.
