Summary: Responsible for answering phones, invoicing, assisting customer requests, and creating work orders by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone and direct calls as necessary, greets customers, file completed work order packets, set up conference call/zoom meetings.
- Checks to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customer’s problems and concerns.
- Keeps records of customer interactions or transactions and records details of inquiries, complaints, comments, or actions taken.
- Refers unresolved customer issues to designated departments for further investigation.
- Recommends improvements in products, packaging, shipping, services, billing methods, and procedures to prevent further issues.
- Provides notifications to customers.
- Refers customers to appropriate personnel.
- Engages with site leadership to prioritize critical initiatives, projects and goals.
- Works collaboratively with the customer service manager and sales managers to ensure clear and effective customer communication.
- Handles and resolves more complex customer requests or complaints.
- Invoices customers timely and accurately.
- Supports outside sales on quotes and new opportunities.
- Supports shipping and receiving of material.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Must be able to follow safety rules, operating, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine correspondence.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Well organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, often with a deadline.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring:
- At least 2+ years of experience in customer service or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or other related field, or equivalent of education and experience.
- Experience in MS Office and ERP system (Quantum)
- Effective communicator.
- Must be a team player.
- Bonus, but not required, Repair and Overhaul experience in the aviation industry.
