Customer Service Assistant

Praxis Packaging continues to grow!!!_ We are seeking an organized & motivated Customer Service professional*_ to join our team as a Customer Service Assistant. *This role works closely with our Account Managers, Quality Team & Production Staff to ensure our new orders are understood and our production is exactly what our customers want! Strong organization, good communications, and a great attitude and work ethic are needed. An ideal candidate will have some previous experience in Customer Service or Account Management and a strong sense of customer-focus and urgency. This is a fast-paced environment! You must work well independently and be able to change priorities quickly in a flexible environment.

  • This is an on-site, office-type role that typically works M-F
  • Hourly position

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry into the following Praxis systems:
  • Mantis
  • Sugar Suite
  • QuickBooks
  • Coordinates and helps assist Account Managers with prioritizing daily task.
  • Processes batch records (job totes).
  • Verifies and 2nd checks batch records (job totes).
  • Assist Account Managers with creating and printing stencils.
  • Cross trains on basic accounts with Account Managers and is able to help serve as back up on general account functions.
  • Note taking (scribe) for company/department meetings and audits. Type up minutes for team update.
  • Produce and send out agendas for internal/customer meetings.
  • Assist and be present for all new project set-ups.
  • Ensure the timely receipt of orders and entry into the computer system.
  • Assist other Account Managers and cross train on all accounts.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years Customer Service or Account Mgmt. or similar experience required
  • The ability to work independently, without supervision required
  • Ability to organize priorities and workload required

Computer/Communication Skills:

  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, preferred
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) related software, preferred
  • Ability to speak, read and write English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, and customers: to include reading and writing skills to understand and complete necessary customer paperwork, required
