We are looking for a Custodian to join our team and keep our new church facilities beautiful for generations to come. The successful candidate will be responsible for indoor and outdoor work such as cleaning and maintaining the interior of the church and maintaining the trimming, mowing and landscaping. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Day-time hours are prefferred, but candidate has the opporutnity to select their own flexible hours. Will need to be available for some snow removal during winter season.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for our community.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture and fixtures.
- Clean restroom facilities.
- Clean windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Empty trash receptacles and stock dispensers.
- Maintain outdoor areas such as parking lots.
- Perform minor repairs to buildings and equipment.
This position has the potential to transfer to our school custodial position or work into a full-time position that provides health insurance benefits.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
