Job Description Summary
The Town of Southern Pines is searching for a Custodian who will be responsible for performing general housekeeping and maintenance work in the Town's buildings. This position performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks with the objective of maintaining, repairing, and cleaning of the Towns buildings, and bathrooms for the safe and appealing enjoyment for the community and staff. These tasks require the use of manual tools, powered hand tools and other equipment generally associated with custodial work. A valid NC drivers' license and excellent driving record are required.
Due to Police Station access, successful applicants must pass a comprehensive criminal background check investigation and a pre-employment drug test.
