POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Facilities Director, the incumbent is responsible for performing all routine janitorial duties to ensure cleanliness of facility as well as responsible for minor repairs and maintenance. This is a Monday-Thursday from 7am-11am and Saturday's from 7am-11am
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Cleans and sanitizes sinks, toilets, showers, restrooms, and other assigned areas of building. Cleans and maintains floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces.
- Empties waste containers.
- Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
- Performs various duties such as dusting, and maintaining entrances and offices.
- Reports building problems. Reports supply stock problems.
- Performs sidewalk/exterior clean up. Disposes of trash.
- May set up furniture for special events.
- Light landscaping, such as trim bushes, blowing out areas of debris.
- Demonstrate the "Character Counts" values of caring, respect, honesty and responsibility in all your dealings with members, guests, volunteers and fellow staff.
- Responsible for minor repairs and maintenance.
- All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Six months or more of related experience preferred.
- Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties.
