We are looking for a talented Meltblown Technician to join our team for our location in Neillsville, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Perform routine and non-routine cleaning tasks along with other staff on equipment assuring their ongoing cleanliness
- Ability to troubleshoot and make proper machine adjustments to the process to produce quality product that meets all requirements
- Understand and be able to do basic upkeep and troubleshooting on equipment
- Collaborate with and support engineering from Neillsville and Stoughton with new processes and products
- Assist in managing scrap amounts by promptly addressing causes of scrap including involving engineering or maintenance
- Perform quality testing procedures
- Calibrate machines and testing equipment per schedule and as needed
- Assist in creation of documentation for existing and new processes and procedures
- Support and maintain OE initiatives throughout designated work area
- Communicate effectively with department, maintenance, engineering, plant leadership, and any other co-workers
- Meet and maintain a level of knowledge set by leadership through a detailed job proficiency assessment. This assessment will be evaluated on several processes within the department
- Other duties as assigned by the team leader or manager
- Keep work area safe and clean at all times (5S – Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Apply all safety, quality, ITAR, and other plant processes and procedures to the products
- Operate and troubleshoot machines/processes required to manufacture products
- Set up and operate assigned machines in area to produce finished product
- Keep department organized and focused to meet production demands
- Directly engage engineering and maintenance in a timely manner to assist with issues
- Properly complete all documentation within the department including quality records, maintenance logs, production logs, 5S scores, etc as directed
- Assume responsibility for quality workmanship that meets and/or exceeds customer expectations
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
- 1-2 years experience working in a similar position is preferred
- Must be able to walk/stand at least 75% of the time including during required overtime hours.

- Ability to read blueprints, job data sheets, safety instructions, etc
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be a quick learner
- Must be very adaptive to change and be an active change agent
- Must be motivated and self-driven, able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work 3rd shift - 10;15 PM - 6:15 AM Sunday-Thursday - Mandatory Overtime every other Friday
- Pay starting at $17.69/HR $1/HR shift differential
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
