Job Description: The Culinary Supervisor will have a basic understanding of the kitchen operation within a hotel. They will be responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. This person will have basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge include culinary education, basic cost control understanding, basic communication, leadership skills and computer skills. May assist in monitoring payroll costs & overtime. Responsibilities also include supervising of hourly cooks.

Qualifications

• Requires good communication skills.
• 3 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills.
• Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen.
• Requires moderate supervision and training.
