Credentialing Specialist
Job description
We are looking for a motivated Credentialing Specialist to ensure facilities and clinicians are credentialed with payors including federal payors and that we are fully compliant with all state and federal regulations. Thrive Physical Therapy Partners is a fast-growing organization looking to add an experienced Credentialing Specialist to our company. Duties of the Credentialing Specialist include:
- Creating and maintaining licensing, credentialing, and insurance records
- Enhance credentialing process
- Monitor license and credential expiration dates
- Update CAQH for all providers as required
If you have previous experience in credentialing and recredentialing for clinicians and the facilities with insurance payors including federal payors, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of the initial credentialing, re-credentialing, as well as pieces of onboarding processes for incoming clinicians. The Credentialing Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that Thrive Physical Therapy Partners meets internal standards and is in compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Process clinicians credentialing and re-credentialing applications
- Collect the application, licensing, CAQH, PECOS and other documents that will help complete credentialing and enrollment.
- Create and maintain credentialing files
- Create and maintain tracking systems to ensure that applications are complete and processed timely
- Provide support for the clinicians, staff, and business owners as well as Thrive Management staff.
- Duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3-5 years credentialing experience in healthcare
- Excellence in organizational and time-management skills
- Understanding of credentialing guidelines
- Ability to work independently
- Capable of muti-tasking
- High detail orientated
