JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE:
The Cove Foodrunner POSITION: # 217216

REPORTS TO:
Sous Chef

DEPARTMENT:
Food & Beverage

POSITIONS REPORTING TO THIS POSITION:
None

TASKS:
1. Sets up station prior to meal serving and is responsible for safety standards, neatness, and sanitation of work areas.
2. Responsible for the proper use of gloves, utensils, and portion size of each item, temperature of hot and cold food, and the attractive presentation of all food items.
3. Communicates in a timely manner with kitchen staff regarding the amount of food on hand and its quality.
4. Should know the name of each item being served and its main ingredients.
5. Require the delivery of prepared food to the guests, both dine in and TOGO guests.
6. Serves customers in a prompt and courteous manner.
7. This position as The Cove Food Runner will require the cleaning or bussing dining room tables

HAZARDS:
Includes, but not limited to: back strain, high noise levels, and exposure to cigarette smoke.
