A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FULL-TIME CURRICULUM DEVELOPER
As a Curriculum Developer, you will be responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, updating, evaluating, and maintaining training courses for USCYBERCOM J7 based on instructional needs. The ideal applicant would know the 508 compliance requirements and other federal regulations regarding online content and accessibility. Candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. The Curriculum developer will be paired with subject matter experts to develop content for training courses. This position does not require an in-depth knowledge of subject matter related to the designated field or discipline.
Core Tasks
- Conduct learning needs assessments and identifies requirements
- Develop or assist in the development of training policies and protocols
- Correlate training and learning to business or mission requirements
- Design training curriculum and course content based on requirements
- Conduct periodic reviews/revisions of course content for accuracy, completeness alignment, and currency (e.g., course content documents, lesson plans, student texts, examinations, schedules of instruction, and course descriptions)
- Primarily responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) of training solutions within CYBERCOM
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FULL-TIME CURRICULUM DEVELOPER
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of related experience OR master's degree with 7 years of related experience
- Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph required
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite software tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
