Legacy Logistics and Transportation, a FedEx Ground contractor, is looking for FULL TIME Package Delivery Drivers in Defuniak Springs, FL. Located in between Crestview and DeFuniak Springs. Areas of delivery are PACE, MILTON, AND JAY…We are seeking self-motivated, safe drivers who will provide outstanding service to our customers! WE OFFER HEALTH / DENTAL / 401K BENEFITS!

• Pay: Starting pay of $150/day.

CDL License is NOT required. Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, USPS, FedEx or DHL is a plus!

Work Hours: 7:30am - Delivery Completion - When completed with your route you may be asked from time to time to assist other drivers.

Schedule: Open availability preferred - Weekend availability a must

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up all packages daily w/in the prescribed time windows.
• Conduct Pre/Post trip van inspections daily.
• Operate delivery van (step van or box truck) safely, securely and competently.
• Learn the route(s) and customer needs serviced by our company.
• Report to the station prepared to examine and organize daily load before departure.
• Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight without damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• 1+ Year(s) verifiable professional driving experience in the last 3 years. (MILITARY DRIVING, TAXI, UBER, PIZZA DELIVERY, LANDSCAPE DRIVER IS ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE)
• Clean driving record - No accidents or violations in 3 years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check
• Ability to lift up to 150+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions
• Amazon experience qualifies as driving experience!
