Job Summary:
As the Costume CAM Specialist you will develop, build, buy and repair costumes for all Disney Parks and Resorts. The Costume CAM Specialist is a role made up of three areas including General, Pattern Making and Production Support. The Costume CAM Specialist requires a secondary interview. As a Costuming CAM specialist you will be located at the Lee Vista Campus or on Walt Disney World Property.
The starting pay rate for this role is $20.05.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety while operating vehicles
- Knowledge of routes & roadways to destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort®, including Theme Parks, Water Parks, Resorts, and Disney Springs
- Good communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Navigate between multiple and concurrent computer applications
The Costuming Cam Specialist is made up of three areas including General, Pattern Making and Production Support.
General
- Support costume fittings
- Use SAP to place reservations for purchase of garments
- Compete quality control inspections
- Understanding of digital and physical pattern making
- Digitize and grade patterns
- Create markers for both internal and external vendors
- Interpret Designer sketches into physical garments
- Handle costume set up within PLM system
- Touch up photos of garments
- Complete line drawings
- Organizing data and taking garment photos for documentation purposes
Basic Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- A valid Driver’s License
- Advanced knowledge of garment patterning, cutting and construction
- Exposure to all type of fibers; manmade or natural
- Good Communication Skills
- Comfortable working in an area where you may be exposed to performers in multiple stages of dress and undress
- Flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays
- Part Time roles require full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays
- Full Time roles require Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Gerber Accumark or AutoCAD
- Experience with Apparel Industry, Textiles, Theater or related field
- Experience with commercial sewing machines, press equipment and tools
- Experience creating and modifying proportional flat sketch line drawings of complex garments in Adobe Illustrator

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTYOur Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
