Your seat at the table: Cost Accountant

In this seat you’ll support our Manufacturing division and be accountable for establishing and maintaining product costs in a standard cost environment. You will perform monthly inventory reconciliations and analysis, participate in month end close, and work cross functionally with other departments on projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

This seat reports to: Corporate Controller

More specifics about what this seat does:

• Monitor key manufacturing performance indicators
• Maintain standard costing and annual cost updates
• Report and analyze manufacturing spend
• Track and monitor inventory
• Ensure accuracy of the balance sheet and income statements
• Perform additional duties and projects as requested

We need this seat to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 1 - 3 years of accounting experience in manufacturing
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Understand and adhere to systems of internal control
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization
• Excellent Math Skills
• Strong organizational skills
