Flexologist

StretchLab is seeking kinesiology/exercise science graduates, certified personal trainers, physical therapy assistants, strength & conditioning coaches, athletic trainers, corrective exercise specialists, and certified Yoga and Pilates instructors to join our team. StretchLab Flexologists™ are body movement experts certified in a variety of related fields, and receive exceptional training developed by the world's leading authority on Assisted Stretching and Flexibility. StretchLab's proprietary Flexologist ™ Training Program ensures that all of our members receive a world class stretching session.

Our Flexologists will provide one-on-one assisted stretches as well as lead guided group stretching classes for our clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions as well as group stretch classes for up to 6 clients
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
• Build and maintain StretchLab membership by providing superior customer engagement
• Enhance member experience by providing exceptional stretching experience, chart member progress consistently in our CRM system, and scheduling member's recurring appointments
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Address and resolve member questions/concerns when applicable
• Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with member Introductory Visits, off-site events, and sales as needed
• Maintain strong social media presence to client membership and retention
• Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time

Qualifications:

• Love of boutique fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility!
• Prior certification, degree, or license from a nationally recognized organization or university in one of the following:

• Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, etc.
• Certified Personal Trainer, Athletic Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach
• Physical Therapist Assistant
• Pilates Instructor
• Yoga Instructor

• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a fitness/health environment where you are providing hands-on training with client
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
• Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
• Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals
• Must successfully complete StretchLab’s Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials, 2 Day workshop of in-person/hands-on training, and 20 hours of practice training
• Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Typical schedule will include mornings and/or evenings, as well as limited weekend hours

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $25.00 per hour
