Job AdvertisementThe Jefferson County Sheriff"s Office is accepting applications for Correctional Officers. Required education is graduation from high school, or GED equivalent. Candidates must be 21 years of age at time of appointment, and hold a valid driver"s license. Training specific to the job will be provided by the department. The selected candidates must undergo and pass, a drug screening test, vision and hearing test, a physical agility test and be free of felony convictions.
