What you will be doing... Your IMPACT

• Work cross-functionally to develop written communications and strategies while giving Team Members the tools to extend the messages in their departments.
• Propose and develop original content for all internal communications including announcements, presentations, and newsletters.
• Create and assist with executive speech writing.
• Play a critical role in bringing our strategy, messages, and values to life in meaningful ways for our Team Members.
• Ensure consistent internal communications messaging across all mediums and for different parts of the organization.
• Adjust strategy and plans via data-based insights and measurement methods as needed to achieve business results.
• Develop communications for board of directors and stakeholder reports.

What we are looking for...

You will need to have:

• B.S. degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• 3+ years of previous experience in internal communications, HR communications, and/or corporate communications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Natural storyteller with excellent speaking, writing, and editing skills; can easily simplify messages.
• Creative and critical thinking needed to develop communication strategies.
• Highly organized and detailed oriented.
• Ability to work proactively and independently while collaborating with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to travel to ACBL sites.
• Creative and innovative writing samples.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Previous experience working for a local news channel / media or logistics environment.
• Experience developing and driving internal communications strategies to drive change.
