What you will be doing... Your IMPACT
- Work cross-functionally to develop written communications and strategies while giving Team Members the tools to extend the messages in their departments.
- Propose and develop original content for all internal communications including announcements, presentations, and newsletters.
- Create and assist with executive speech writing.
- Play a critical role in bringing our strategy, messages, and values to life in meaningful ways for our Team Members.
- Ensure consistent internal communications messaging across all mediums and for different parts of the organization.
- Adjust strategy and plans via data-based insights and measurement methods as needed to achieve business results.
- Develop communications for board of directors and stakeholder reports.
What we are looking for...
You will need to have:
- B.S. degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 3+ years of previous experience in internal communications, HR communications, and/or corporate communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Natural storyteller with excellent speaking, writing, and editing skills; can easily simplify messages.
- Creative and critical thinking needed to develop communication strategies.
- Highly organized and detailed oriented.
- Ability to work proactively and independently while collaborating with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel to ACBL sites.
- Creative and innovative writing samples.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Previous experience working for a local news channel / media or logistics environment.
- Experience developing and driving internal communications strategies to drive change.
