Cook Full Time Days Position Summary
Position seasons and cooks food for hospital patients, employees and visitors. Prepares high quality, appealing food items for all assigned areas following standardized recipes. Position grills and does cold prep. Maintain cleanliness standards set by Department of Health Services.

Special Skills: Ability to read in English to follow verbal and/or written instructions. Ability to prioritize work. Must have good customer service skills.

THE COOK FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Six months food service experience. Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required within 30 days of hire date.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
High school or equivalent preferred to enable individual to follow oral or written instruction in English. One year cooking experience preferably in an acute care setting.
