Tudor Oaks Senior Living, an American Baptist Homes of the Midwest community, is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Chef to help our culinary team provide excellent service to our valued residents.
Pay is based on experience and includes up to $1,000 sign on bonus.
This is a day shift position scheduled 10am - 6:30pm with rotating weekends. No late nights!
As the Cook/Chef for our upscale private fine dining restaurant, you will be a member of a talented culinary team in preparing lunch and dinner for our active independent living residents. You help create inspired menus, and prepare appetizing, delicious, and nutritious meals. As you prepare our community's daily meals, you take pride in how your food tastes, is plated and served (HOT!). You also assist in day to day kitchen operations, ingredient resourcing, and production. You stay calm under pressure, and are a team oriented problem solver. Your team is made up of fun, friendly individuals who truly enjoy their work, and working together. You will enjoy working in our 2000 square foot kitchen, with all the amenities of a full service, fine dining establishment.

What you will need:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Graduate from an accredited culinary program, or equivalent experience is desired.
- 1 year prior kitchen experience at minimum
- Covid-19 vaccination is required to work in a healthcare setting
