Job description

We are looking for skilled Cooks/Cashiers to collect payment for and/or prepare a variety of sandwiches, snacks, and pizzas according to menu. An ideal applicant will be a TEAM player that likes to have FUN while getting the job done and delivering EXCELLENT customer service in a fast paced environment. Must be available some weeknights and most weekends. Pay starts at $9 per hour plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a smile
• Preps and cooks all menu items according to company recipes and standards using flat top grill, fryers, & pizza oven
• Coordinates items ordered together to finish at the same time
• Follows all food safety guidelines and standards
• Performs opening, closing and side duties as required
• Completes any duties or tasks assigned by managers

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Check food while cooking
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the food prep area
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Monitor stock and replenish items when there are shortages
• Verify age with photo I.D. for alcohol sales
• Taking food and beverage orders and collecting payment

Skills

• Must be 18 years of age
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, frying, etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a team
• Very good communication skills
• Excellent physical condition and stamina
• Operate a cash register

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.50 - $11.00 per hour
