Cashier \ Line cook

This is a great way to learn the food truck business if you’ve ever thought of opening your own. Kennard Entertainment & Catering is looking for a reliable line cook to join our food truck team.

Pay based on experience.

Shifts would include prep/catering/line cook on the truck/packing/clean up/breakdown/setup.

We are looking to fill our Full-Time or Part-Time Cashier/Cook position.

*You will be expected to do both positions*

These are the basic duties and responsibilities of the position and must be performed competently.

• Basic requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
• Provide assistance to customers by making available information on products, and their benefits
• Ensure that the store is clean and in order at all times.
• Operating cash register/point of sale systems.
• Receive food orders from customers & prepare efficiently & accurately.
• Operating kitchen equipment and performing general cleaning/maintenance (equipment includes, but is not limited to: ovens, fryers, coolers, freezers).
• Follow all company and state guidelines regarding food preparation/safety.
• Take time/temperature readings at appropriate times and log as directed by the manager.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance in all check out areas as well as areas where food is prepared, sold, and/or stored.
• Keep all merchandise stocked, rotated, and/or date marked.
• Clean inside the store: windows/cooler doors, counters, floors, aisles, and empty trash cans.
• Inform the direct supervisor of all relevant departmental issues in a timely manner.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job qualifications;

*Must have transportation as our events are at various locations throughout Lubbock.

* able to lift 40lb

*willingness to learn and work well with others

*references within their work history

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
