To design and implement PLC safety systems for all types of automation test stands. The preferred candidate will have knowledge of SCADA systems and control theory and provide technical support to all stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• 
  Interface with custom engineering in developing testing applications with a focus on Electrification projects and PLC programming. Responsibilities include:

• 
  Design and specification of Test Cell PLC safety systems
• Create PLC logic to control automation equipment
• Create HMIs along side customers
• Design Facility PLC network

• 
  Interact with customers for requirements
• Develop software utilizing the following components:

• 
  Windows Based- HMIs, PLC based HMIs
• Real-time computers running a RTOS
• Allen Bradly experience(required).Siemens experience beneficial

• 
  Instrumentation knowledge
  • Control logic and instrumentation
  • Wiring troubleshooting
  • Test instrumentation familiarity
• Assist projects in developing safety matrices
• Interact with customers for troubleshooting and debugging software, electrical, and mechanical problems
• Act in accordance with the UTAC policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related engineering or technology field
• Fluent in English language
• Must have valid driver's license in good standing
