Job description
We are looking for a:
Controls Engineer (Thermal)
Responsibilities:
- Thermal Software Development with MBD tools E-Vehicle/Truck
- Developing controls for EV/HEV system and subsystem
- Develop hybrid and range extender powertrain and HVAC thermal control strategies
- Develop requirements, interfaces, and supervisory controls algorithms for HVAC and powertrain thermal functions
- Document and track all work in systems such as Jama/JIRA
- Debug and root cause software issues
Requirements:
- 4+ Years of Experience in Controls development in MATLAB/Simulink with focus on Thermal control algorithms
- 2+ Years of Experience in HEV/EV thermal architectures
Preferential position requirements:
Experience in Software Testing Methods for Embedded Systems (MiL, SiL, HiL, and vehicle), Controller Area Networks (CAN) experience (J1939).
Classical and modern control disciplines including PID, state space observer and control methods, Kalman filters.
