About Maddox + You:

As a member of the Engineering Team, you would be working on a variety of different projects both in an office environment as well as performing some task in the shop. As the Control Wiring Engineer your primary responsibility will be to trace out and test existing control circuits to produce electrical drawings that will be used by our technicians and sent to our customers.

Our shops run at a very high pace and often the work is performed with stringent deadlines.

Your day-to-day activities will also include providing support to other departments by providing mechanical drawings of the equipment that we are producing.

• You love having a variety of tasks and learning new things.
• You get to the bottom of an issue so you understand exactly what is or is not working.
• You’re comfortable with online documentation and web-based software systems (with computer & smartphone)
• You’re an excellent communicator; in-person, over the phone, and via email.
• You’re a quick learner; not a know-it-all.

Basics:

• This position works 40-45 hours per week on a 5-day schedule. Hours are flexible. Between 6:00AM and 5:00PM

Experience & Education:

We value skills and experience. Experience working with Transformers and other electrical equipment is preferred. Degree is either electrical or mechanical engineering or extensive hands-on experience.

Travel: Some travel may be required between Maddox locations.

Pay: Starting package $78k-$85k including 5 hour/week overtime estimate, bonus and benefits; commensurate to experience.
