Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Merrick & Company, an international Engineering and Architectural firm, is seeking a Contracts & Risk Management Analyst to work at our headquarters in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Summary:
The ideal candidate will have exposure to risk management and insurance. This role will support the Contracts and Risk Management Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the review, comment, and negotiation of client contracts.
- Assist with the preparation and review of subcontracts.
- Assist with the review of other contractual vehicles as needed.
- Assist with maintenance of Merrick’s corporate insurance program.
- Support Merrick’s corporate risk management, including risk mitigation and risk transfer.
Qualifications:
- Education and/or Experience
- Graduation from an accredited risk management and insurance school or bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Zero to three (3) years of experience in the risk management and insurance industry.
- Understanding of risk management procedures is a plus.
- Language Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills are required.
- Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including intermediate knowledge and skill in Microsoft Word is required.
Physical Requirements
- Requires the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
- Be able to work in an environment with open discussions and visitors without getting distracted.
- May be required to lift up to 20 lbs.

- The typical wage range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65 per hour. The pay range listed in this posting indicates the position’s eligibility to work in the state of Colorado and is consistent with our offices there; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
