Role: Contracts Manager
Location : Miami, FL Hybrid- (Monday & Friday remote)
Type: 7 Months W2 Contract

Pay Rate: $32.78/Hr on W2

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills working with clients and Production Reps.
  • Legal or Paralegal experience.
  • Strong administrative, analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and high degree of professionalism
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality GENERAL SKILLS:
  • Excellent writing and document management skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and satisfy accelerated schedules and deadlines, when required.
  • Impeccable organization and filing skills
  • Strong word processing skills with MS Word, Outlook and Excel COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
  • Effectively communicates with internal and/or external customers
  • Shares relevant information with team members
  • Bachelor's Degree or above preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts execution process, including inputting agreements to document management system, ensuring proper approvals are in place, calendaring respective contract expiration dates and distributing fully executed contracts.
  • Under the supervision of Senior Counsel, support Marketing, Ad Sales, Creative Solutions, Finance, and Operations in any relevant requests, such as, new vendor contracts, renewals, amendments, contract extensions, releases, contest registrations.
  • Liaise closely with Compliance to ensure business is in-line with client’s Compliance processes, such as, properly vetting of any new Legal outside counsel, reviewing of third-party Compliance language, gathering Compliance approval for certain ad sales deals or marketing initiatives, tracking gifts and business entertainment, etc.
  • Work closely with Affiliate Sales team to track renewals and negotiations of top agreements, for basics and premium business.
  • Oversee and manage Regulatory Programming requirements
  • Work with Corporate Legal to ensure all corporate filings per entity are up to date and renew power of attorney’s
  • Process and manage Submission Releases and liaise with Universal Studios Group Submissions team for any relevant inquires on the process.
  • Liaise with Real Estate team on renewals of Latin America office spaces.
  • Track, oversee, and ensure timely payment of outside counsel Legal invoices.
  • Work closely with Content Protection team to report piracy matters for take down or any other piracy risk and report key content titles for monitoring against piracy.
  • Project manage certain key projects and priorities.
  • Prepare correspondence for mailing/distribution.
  • Process certain documents for notarization and apostille.
  • Maintain and organize files for the department.
  • Perform other duties and/or manage special projects as needed
