The Erosion Company (TEC) is currently hiring a Contracts Administrator in Woodstock, GA.

TEC is the largest and most experienced erosion control contractor in the Southeast. TEC offers clients comprehensive erosion control, specialty materials, forestry, and other site clean-up/control services.

The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem solver. This position will be a key member of the Accounting and Finance team who can work effortlessly across Sales, Operations, and Finance to execute tasks and streamline project lifecycles. This position will report to the CFO.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Contracts

  • Manage the Contract Review process through the entire lifecycle of the project.
  • Review Contracts to ensure compliance with TEC s policies while limiting the company's overall risk and exposure.
  • Negotiate contract terms with customers and ensure language is in accordance with the agreed Scope of Work.
  • Oversee the processing of new job compliance including submittals, pre-lien filings, insurance certificates, W-9, business licenses, and any other requested items for new and existing projects.
  • Ensure Pricing is consistent and work closely with AR and Billing Dept to ensure pricing is correct.
  • Lead and Coordinate the Project kick-off process with Sales and Operations to ensure compliance with contracted terms throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Provide Contracts summaries and create a Contracts database/status log from initial request to final execution and payment.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team on payment status and assist with the timely collection of Project payments according to terms. Track retainage on projects and coordinate with AR on payment.

Reports

  • Generate periodic informational reports for TEC Management Team.
  • Create a Database to track contracts through their lifecycle.
  • Some reports will be self-generated, while TEC s SL report writer may create others.

Requirements and skills

  • Prior experience in contract administration in the construction or similar industry
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases, and information systems
  • Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques
  • BSc/Ba in Business Management or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
