Job Description:
The Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) will work in a dynamic fast paced environment supporting SCI programs for both the DoD and IC to develop, implement, and administer the security program in accordance with DoD 5205.07 manuals, DoD 5105.21 manuals, NISPOM and JSIG. The CSSO will be responsible for the personnel security, information security, physical security, and Operations Security (OPSEC) of assigned SAPFs/SCIFs and program areas.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Administering the SCI nomination process by processing, tracking, and submitting nomination packages.
Provide security indoctrinations and debriefings.
Administering the security procedures as they relate to operating in a classified environment for: media control, marking and control of documents/materials, security education, visitor control, and destruction of classified materials.
Develop, prepare, and implement local SOP, OPSEC Plans, and transportation plans.
Establish, gain accreditation, and maintain a SCIF in accordance with ICD 705.
Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s).
Collaborate and assist the ISSO / ISSM on management of information systems.
Ensure all security requirements are maintained to satisfactorily pass Government inspections.
Willing to travel on company business.
Must possess a valid driver’s license for escorting individuals across business locations.
Qualifications you must have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 8 years relevant experience, or in absence of a degree, 12 years relevant experience in SCI Security.
Ability to obtain SAP and SCI program access.
Understanding of the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, DoDM 5105.21 and ICDs.
Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI Eligibility - possess a minimum of a current, final Top Secret clearance with an investigation not older than 6 years on the first day of employment.
Qualifications we value:
