Nova Therapy, PLLC is looking to add experienced therapists to our clinical team! We are looking for therapists who are passionate about the work they do with their clients and are genuinely driven to provide quality, client care. It is important for our therapists to have strong DSM-5 diagnostic skills and a clinically-sound therapeutic approach in their work with clients.

We are seeking contracted (1099) therapists to join our growing practice. We provide therapy to adolescents and adults, as well as families and couples. Therapy is currently being provided via teletherapy or walk-talk therapy in Buffalo Bayou Park if located in Houston, Tx. There is a 60-40 split, where you get to keep 60%. We invite therapists who enjoy offering unique services like, EMDR, expressive arts therapy, DBT, yoga therapy, sex therapy, etc. to apply!

Benefits

This is a flexible grow as you go position in which therapists are able to set their own hours. Nova Therapy provides the EHR, billing and teletherapy platform. We do not accept insurance.

Must be willing to:

• Offer walk-talk therapy in Buffalo Bayou Park (Houston, Tx 77007) on some occasions (if located in Houston, Tx)
• Attend virtual weekly team meetings on Thursday's at 1pm
• Must be able to offer evening (after 5pm) and/or weekend (before noon) sessions

Responsibilities

• Able to maintain appropriate and timely clinical documentation
• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional health concerns
• Aid individuals with various mental health needs and concerns
• Implement and review treatment plans
• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and client’s care team to ensure continuity of care
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and complete treatment plans and progress notes using our Electronic Health Record system

Qualifications

• Warm, compassionate, and able to easily build and maintain rapport with clients
• Able to work well independently and contribute collaboratively as a team player
• Proficient and comfortable with technology
• Experienced in providing short-term as well as long-term therapy and has the clinical skill-set/depth to effectively do so
• A Master’s Degree
• A Valid Texas state license: LPC, LCSW, LPC-A, LMSW, or equivalent
• Must have your own professional liability insurance
• Must have your own supervisor (if provisional)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
