JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Contract Maintenance Technician

Location: Traveling

Duration: Contract

Payrate: $40 an hour 1.5 Overtime rate $40 daily per diem, Hotel and travel reimbursement

Primary Duties: Keep machinery, equipment and plant structure in operating condition, this includes but is not limited to:

• Repairing machines, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and fits replacements parts and/or makes replacements parts as required
• Electrical experience a must
• Tool Die Maker
• Mill Rider
• Checks and repairs test instruments
• Read schematics and blueprints
• Capable of operating precision hand tools, and electronic equipment.
• Adjust machines for production when adjustments beyond the scope of the operator
• Modify equipment as required
• Maintains, installs, and troubleshoots piping, fitting valves, and gauges for hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gas and air lines.
• Trouble shoot all industrial electrical components
• Understand required instruments to troubleshoot electrical components
• Understand required instruments to trouble shoot electrical circuits.
• Carries out the TPM (Preventative Maintenance Program)
• Setup and operate a drill press, grinder, power saws, welder, etc. and improvises when equipment is limited.
• Periodically checks machines and equipment while performing preventative maintenance as required.
• Ability to plan and lay our work, determine accurate and efficient methods and diagnoses while correcting difficulties to minimize production interruptions

Additional Duties:

• Ability to work as a team and able to take orders to fulfill various projects
• Ability to solve technical problems
• Troubleshoot electrical instrumentation used on equipment and make adjustments accordingly.
• Troubleshoot servo drives and motors.

• Fanuc
• All hand tolls and power tools, as task require.

Education:

• High School Diploma

• 2nd & 3rd shift
• Monday to Sunday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Maintenance: 4 years (Required)
• Hydraulics: 4 years (Required)
• Electrical: 4 years (Required)
