Contract Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Generate, negotiate, and manage NDAs, TAs and other related agreements.
• Solicit proposals from prospective subcontractors and work with the pricing department to analyze cost/price, technical capability and financial viability Negotiate and administer FFP, T&M, and CPFF contracts/ subcontracts.
• Prepare contract/ subcontract documentation in accordance with established company, customer and government regulations. Monitor and report cost, schedule and status of contracts/ subcontractors and make recommendations to management for potential corrective action
• Interface with Project Control Analysts (PCAs) and Accounting Department regarding cost reporting issues. Serve as the main liaison with Vendor contracting representatives
• Support the improvement of department processes Support ad-hoc requests as identified
• Manage contract expirations and administer customer contracts to ensure all deadlines and conditions described in the contract are met including, but not limited to, payment of admin fees and or rebates, processing of manual billings, and implementation of annual CPI or other price increases

Qualifications:

• Experience analyzing and improving data, information and processes
• Management certification is not necessary though strongly preferred
• High-level understanding of all aspects of processes
• Previous experience with processes strongly preferred
• Experience working in and maintaining databases using Microsoft Excel and others relevant to company processes
• Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with vendors
• Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenge and needs to be addressed
• Ability to research companies and determine the best vendors to reach out to for various projects
• Experience working to improve all aspects of the by streamlining steps and locating the best prices for inventory

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s in either statistics, information management or equivalent
• Masters in economics, statistics, information management, or MSC (Preferred)
• Technical expertise applying statistical tools such as Microsoft Excel
• Able to formulate database designs and data models (Preferred)
• Proficient with GOLD (IMS) systems
• Skill and knowledge in analyzing and evaluating enterprise management information system reports such as Systems Applications and Products (SAP) in data processing or commercial Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Daily performance management reports, error listings, and in-transit visibility reports: Minimum one year (Preferred)

Clearance:

• Possess and maintain Secret security clearance
