This is an exciting opportunity to develop, implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives, create reports and tracking metrics utilizing data-driven insights and serve as coordinator of safety programs. This position would work closely with the engineering team.

Requirements:

• Must be able to investigate and problem solve manufacturing issues in a creative and proactive manner.
• Must be able to build employee relationships, motivate a team to produce to meet company goals and operate in a safe working manner.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement process improvement strategies to improve safety, quality, cost and efficiency throughout the production operation.
• Analyze production processes, monitor and analyze performance data and quality to troubleshoot identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Develop strategies to enhance the quality and quantity of product output.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and provide corrective action.
• Perform regular safety audits and required inspections that are required to keep manufacturing facility OSHA compliant.
• Direct and document safety committee meeting discussions, project updates and communication of new safety initiatives.
• Investigate accidents and complete required documentation to complete the OSHA log and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or related continuous improvement experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must understanding continuous improvement principles and OSHA compliances and documentation.
