The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing excellence across all plants.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working in a food manufacturing plant environment
• Experience managing production systems (opening and closing of work orders, costing reviews, inventory management)
• Experience performing internal reviews and audits
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules to monitor production runs at different times of the day
• Proficiency in excel and data analytics tools
• Experience with Smart Sheet and Power BI a plus
• Ability to handle and review a high volume of data
• Ability to work with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors' degree in engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Six Sigma certification a plus

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead ongoing manufacturing excellence reviews to validate costing metrics for products across all plants including efficiency KPIs, capacity per line, yield, labor requirements, output, etc.
• Develop a consistent test approach for domestic plants considering their own systems and set up
• Work cross-functionally to detect variances and opportunities to improve efficiencies and margins.
• Interact and coordinate with Operations, HR, QA, R&D and other related areas as needed
• Benchmark production efficiencies and costing metrics for same products across different locations: work with Operations on corrective measures
• Monitor ongoing yield trends throughout production lines for top selling SKUs as part of audits
• Work on pre and post launch validation of costing for new products, liaison with Costing, R&D and Operations
• Support the revenue team as needed and train other members of the team with the direction of the Global Senior VP of Revenue
• Serve as the Revenue representative and on the plant floor to support related initiatives
• Build a self-sustained audit function
