Editron is looking for a Continuous Improvement Expert to facilitate, support and drive continuous improvement activities through the entire process chain. You will act as a partner to manufacturing and supply chain leaders to ensure optimizing quality, delivery, cost, motivation and cash flow, along the entire value chain. It will be your responsibility to foster a culture of sustainable change by applying LEAN and SIX SIGMA methodology creating impact across all KPI’s delivering world class products to customers every time. As part of a global network you will search and share best practice proactively.
Job Responsibilities
- Coach Managers and operators in Lean Mindset and Behavior
- Facilitate improvement activities (e.g. Kaizen, 5S, Line Balancing)
- Implement the relevant Danfoss Business System methods together with plant management team
- Support in Root Cause Problem Solving - Guide
- Problem description
- Analysis, measurements in order to find the root cause
- Support implementation
- Active Networker – bring people/functions together
- Trainer in tools & methods
- Challenge the status quo and act as role model
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree within Engineering, Business or similar
- 3 years’ experience and excellent understanding Lean Manufacturing philosophy, tools and methods
- 2 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment
- Able to take accountability for ideas from inception to delivery, in an environment that requires robust metrics to confirm success
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Ability to connect with and coach and train people at all levels
- Ability to get things done and build momentum
- Green / Black Belt

Compensation Data
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90,000-$120,000/year. Base salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
