SUMMARY: Content Describer is a mid level position with responsibility for assisting the listing department within the organization. Under general supervision, performs a variety of general operational tasks to ensure deadlines are made. The successful candidates will be detailed oriented, organized, reliable, willing to work in a fast paced environment, possess organizational and administrative skills.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect and Describes various firearms of all types
• Compose description of various firearms of all types
• Other duties may be required relevant to the position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Firearms knowledge and auction experience desired but not required.
• Ability to work effectively with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, organize, handle detail, follow-through on tasks and problem solve with minimal supervision and successfully complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Good verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to work on-site.
• Must have respect for confidentiality; ability to work with discretion and integrity.
• Ability to get along well with others and be a positive member of Bryant Ridge Co and work in a manner consistent with our core values.
• Must have criminal record clearance from DOJ and be at least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or GED with work related experience preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to:

• Stand, walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• May be required to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
• Lift and /or move up to 25 lbs.

HOURS of EMPLOYMENT:

We have part time and full time positions. The normal work week is Monday – Friday. An hourly schedule will be established between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm. Overtime may be required on occasion. Hours are flexible.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Salary depends on experience. Full time positions offer benefits including paid holidays, vacation.
