CRSI is now hiring Consumer Benefits/Payroll for our Franklin County office, located in Hilliard, Ohio

This is a full-time position.

Basic Functions
The Administrative Assistant maintains various records of consumers as directed, coordinates and completes Medicaid and Social Security forms support, maintains and assists with preparation of consumer's fiscal needs, and other related duties pertaining to the maintenance, revision, and storage of consumer records. A qualified individual must be able to work with little supervision, and be able to perform clerical and secretarial tasks, including typing and the establishment of records.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support, monitor, maintain, and assist with individual consumers financial needs as it relates to:
  • Personal allowance accounts (regular audits)
  • Trusts, burial accounts, renter's insurance
  • Food stamps/Redets
  • Medicaid Redets
  • Tax returns
  • Financial reports to County Boards as required
  • Monitor pertinent information from Home Managers to accurately complete all necessary reports to agencies referenced above.
  • Any other required paperwork to ensure all consumers receive maximum benefits available to them from every possible resource
  • Organize consumer records books; update, condense, and store records on a regular basis
  • Performs unannounced cash audits on consumer homes on a monthly basis
  • Ensure filing system and records are maintained according to federal, state, county, corporate, and departmental requirements. Including information included in the Franklin County G-drive
  • Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and updated
  • Assist in organizing special Agency functions and complete special projects as assigned
  • Compose/process all assigned correspondence
  • Responsible for the daily operation of the business office
  • Other related duties as determined by Supervisor

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years experience in utilizing executive secretarial/office managerial skills
  • Mus possess knowledge of general office practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of the types of services received by individuals with Developmental Disabilities a plus
  • Must have good data entry skills and have some knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and word processing skills
  • Must possess good organizational skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Must have an acceptable police record, valid driver's license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
