Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Public Accounting, Accounting or Finance

Venteon is currently seeking a Consultant to fill an opening with a Consulting Firm and Employer of Choice with headquarters in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidate will be a critical contributor to the company’s overall financial success.

Requirements of the Consultant

• Emphasis in accounting and/or finance with significant accounting coursework
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
• Self-motivated with superior academic credentials
• CPA or pursuit of CPA preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated problem solving capability
• 1-3 years work experience in public accounting or finance

Responsibilities of the Consultant

As a Consultant, you will work on a vast array of engagements early in your career. Consultants work in teams and are given direct exposure to clients within many different industries. There is opportunity for advancement for consultants with demonstrated capability and a strong desire to learn and grow the practice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Financial modeling
• Forensic accounting and fraud investigations
• Industry research
• Database analysis
• Business valuation
• Communicating with client’s personnel and legal counsel

Our core skills and competencies include financial, economic, and statistical analysis, financial accounting, cost accounting, fraud detection and quantification, fact finding and discovery, complex data extraction, financial modeling and presentation, damages analysis, and expert witness testimony.
