Quality Control Supervisor

What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Quality Control Supervisor who will represent us to both our customers and subcontractors in the execution of Siding Replacement, exterior Painting and Window Installation projects.

‘Day in the life’:

  • Communicating with customers by phone, email text or in person throughout their project to ensure high customer service and satisfaction.
  • Attending to customers who have complaints from prior jobs and liaising with the appropriate crew’s foreperson.
  • Reviewing subcontractor’s invoices and approving/denying them.
  • Ensuring subcontractor takes pictures of jobsites for submission to customer’s insurance companies and to document scope of work completion.
  • Producing progress reports for customer’s.
  • Tracking and logging of over-delivered or under-delivered materials to ensure appropriate corrections from material suppliers are received.
  • Sales of upgrades and expanded scopes of work, sales of new work unrelated to issues from customer’s complaints.
  • Able to Estimate in order to create proposals for additional work.
  • Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship and polite communication. Ensure the image of the company is supported by the appearance and activities of the installation teams and job sites.
  • Attend all company/client meetings approved by the QC Manager.
  • On a daily basis, inform the QC Manager and New Roof Scheduler of the progress of the project, including any customer concerns, problems, delays, etc.
  • Provide oral and written communication as needed and the processing of subcontractors cost invoices.
  • Be responsible for the efficient and profitable use of the company’s time, manpower and materials on each project as included in project estimate sheets.
  • Responsible for tracking the progress and profitability of the projects under his or her supervision and reporting to the QC Manager.
  • Deliver materials to job site and return left over materials to warehouse or supplier.
  • Report amount of materials delivered to and/or picked up from job to client data set.
  • Project work dictates job hours. During busy seasons, longer days and even weekend work may be required.
  • Seek additional responsibility and guidance from company management employees as needed to enhance existing skills, learn new skills, and create potential for advancement within the company

What do we require?

  • Basic knowledge of construction related trades such as siding, painting, and windows.
  • Proficiency in a variety of software programs and applications.
  • Ability to develop and understand cost estimating of exterior home projects.
  • Achieve a basic level of understanding and vocabulary of the Spanish language.
  • Clean driving record
  • Able to physically perform the tasks listed above

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
