Job description

Looking for someone with experience in drywall and demo to assist in completion of several interior projects at a commercial property. Tasks would include removing ceiling tiles, hauling debris to the dumpster, paint, assisting in demo and installation of drywall. Position is needed immediately and for the following 3-4 months. There is the possibility for this to be a full time position if a good rapport is made.

Commercial Real Estate company located in the McCormick Ranch area in Scottsdale, AZ seeks full time Assistant Laborer. Individual must possess a competent and cooperative demeanor as a representative of the company. Must be reliable and have a good work ethic. Aptitude to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision. Ability to deal well with people.

Main/immediate responsibilites is to assist with demo and drywall installation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning, window washing, painting, office suite renovation & preparation, trash removal and light repairs.

• Additional duties as assigned
• Ability to drywall
• Ability to perform demo work
• Will be required to climb stairs and/or ladders, stooping, kneeling and crouching for extended periods of time
• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid AZ Driver’s License
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate maintenance and operations preferred, but not required
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 100 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
• Able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the maintenance and construction trades
• Must pass a pre-employment skills assessment, background check, and drug screen
